The Albatross hangs overhead
The inspiration for this painting comes from a Pink Floyd track called Echoes. The music has a dreamy feel about it but as often when I paint something evolves and the sea is quite restless. However the Albatross is above the restlessness and gliding easily on the wind. Hanging overhead as the title suggests.
